We offer in-house CBC and Chemistry allows us to rapidly asses patients' blood values when quick turn around time is critical. A CBC (Complete Blood Count) will evaluate your animal's red and white cell counts while the Chemistry will look at their electrolyte, enzymes, and other body chemical values.
We offer in-house fecal analysis which allows us to rapidly assess patients' parasite loads. This testing is useful for monitoring parasite load in a herd for deworming protocols or in cases of a sick animal.
Our doctors will help guide you through the diagnostic testing selection process when your animal is sick. If there is a case where additional lab testing is required that we do not carry in-house, we will take care of the sample handling and shipping. Once the lab results are reported, they will be forwarded to you for your records and our doctors will talk you through the results.
Laser therapy can be used for musculoskeletal or soft tissue injuries as adjuvant pain management therapy. Benefits of using laser therapy include decreasing inflammation, increasing muscle relaxation, encouraging endorphin release, increasing blood flow, and contribute to faster healing and repair.
Physical therapy can be used for musculoskeletal injuries or soft tissue strains as adjuvant pain management therapy. Our doctors will demonstrate and show you how to perform the exercises at home in order to continue care while your animal is on the road to recovery.
