We approach enucleations with the multimodal pain management approach. The eye is numbed/blocked and systemic pain meds are administered. The eye is removed with precision. The skin around the eye is closed to prevent blood loss. The animal is able to return to her pen shortly after her procedure.

Our herd insemination is variable and we prefer to sit down and work with the producer to come up with a tailor made program to fit their needs.

Bang's calfhood vaccination can be critical in preventing a brucella outbreak. The guidelines for vaccination are female animals 4-12 months of age. This vaccination may be necessary for animals to move across statelines.
Tuberculosis testing is necessary for some herds for routine testing and some states require it for moving animals into their state. This test requires injecting tuberculin into the caudal fold of the tail head and then in 3 days checking the injection site for inflammation.
